Chatbox

• Friendly faces are mandatory. In a bad mood? Angry about something? State your case and move on, don't dwell. We don't want anyone bringing the mood of the cbox down, nor do we want any potential guests seeing excessive negativity in the box.
  
  We want people to think and know that the site is fun, not a 1-800 hotline for your drama and issues. Save it for your best friend or your therapist please.
• No personal information overloading. What does this mean? Don't tell the site your every single personal detail about how your illness is or some infection you may have. Gross huh?
  
  We care about you, we want you to be healthy and feeling great, but we don't need to know the size of...well, you get the idea.
  
  An overload of personal information can kill the chat and make members feel uncomfortable, especially if it is a heavy topic and they don't know how to respond. So save it for your close friends, or if you really need to talk it out, ask to talk to someone on messenger in private...some people love to listen and offer advice or just a friendly shoulder to lean on!
• No Advertising, period. This should go without saying. As stated in the general rules, advertising is allowed only in the Advertising and Affiliates board.
  
  If we find any site staff, members, or guests advertising another site in the chatbox, the offender(s) will be banned immediately. Any advertising or affiliate links will be deleted, and any button we may already have for the site will be taken down.
  
  Don't be rude. We wouldn't do it to you, so you shouldn't do it to us.
• Two names per cbox. You may have your normal cbox name, and one for when you are on another device, such as a cellphone or a tablet. The second name must say something like: Cupcake on Phone, or Cupcake on Kindle, or Cupcake at Work, etc.
  
  Please don't just change one letter of your name, or leave it lowercase, or add a number to it. We don't like numbers with names and any name we find in voilation of what we prefer will be deleted.
• Spammers will be auto-banned. Hey! The cbox does it automatically, we are just giving you a heads up!
  
  But seriously, spamming is lame and unnecessary, so please don't do it...we won't revoke the ban if you do it on purpose.
• Keep the IC to a minimum. The chatbox is strictly OOC in the sense that any light IC is not to be taken seriously nor taken into an IC thread.
  
  You may joke around and be playful with *Cupcake flops onto Fallen's lap* and stuff such as that, and you may also discuss how your character would react to something such as *Ahrianna rolls her eyes*, but again, keep it light and remember that it doesn't count ICly.
• No, we don't have an IC cbox. Why? We don't like them. Often times people take them too seriously or take the information to an IC thread when it shouldn't be, and that gets annoying. Also, a lot of the time they don't even get used, and that is a waste of our money.
  
  So no, we don't have one, and no, we won't be getting one unless we discuss it as Staff and decide that it would be a good idea (that isn't very likely to happen unless multiple members really seem to want one.) So don't ask, poke, prod, beg, or whatever, it'll only get you ignored and possibly temporarily banned depending on how often you have been bugging the Staff about it.
• Cbox is rated PG -13. Enough said.

these changes is not an option.
